SalesLite ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and web services (collectively, the "Service").

When you register for SalesLite, we collect:

  • Voice recordings (when you use voice input features)

1.2 Analytics Data

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics to understand which features are used most and identify bugs. This data is anonymised and stored on PostHog's EU servers (eu.posthog.com). We do not use analytics for advertising or sell this data to third parties.

PostHog collects:

  • Feature usage patterns (which features you use most)
  • Device and browser information
  • Anonymous session data and app interactions
  • Performance metrics to identify bugs

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device information (type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
  • Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent)
  • Usage data (features used, actions taken within the app)
  • Location data (only if you grant permission)

1.4 Device Permissions

SalesLite requests certain device permissions when you use specific features:

Camera Access
Purpose: Take photos for your business logo.
Requested when you tap "Choose Photo" in Settings and select "Take Photo".
You can deny this permission and still use the app with other features.

Photo Library Access
Purpose: Select existing photos from your device for your business logo.
Requested when you tap "Choose Photo" in Settings.
You can deny this permission and still use the app with other features.

Microphone Access
Purpose: Record voice notes and convert them to text using AI transcription.
Requested when you tap the voice input button to record audio.
You can deny this permission and use keyboard input instead.
Voice recordings are sent to the OpenAI Whisper API for transcription and deleted immediately after processing. OpenAI does not use your voice data for AI training.

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service

  • Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests
  • Monitor and analyse usage patterns to improve user experience

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider:

  • Location: United States (AWS infrastructure)
  • Encryption: Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols
  • Backups: Regular automated backups are performed

  • SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit
  • Encrypted database storage
  • Regular security audits
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Secure API endpoints with authentication tokens

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
